She crept along trembling with cold and hunger–

a very picture of sorrow, the poor little thing!

The flakes of snow covered her long fair hair,

which fell in beautiful curls around her neck;

but of that, of course, she never once now thought.

From all the windows the candles were gleaming,

and it smelt so deliciously of roast goose,

for you know it was New Year’s Eve;

yes, of that she thought.

[Pop song] Singer : R. City      Title : Locked away

?歌詞

Princess, I’m leaving.

Look at all these bills, how are they going to get paid?

You have the righ to remain silent.

Anything you say can and  will be used against you in a court of law.

If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

Right about now…
If a judge for life me, would you stay by my side?
Or is you gonna say goodbye?
Can you tell me right now?
If I couldn’t buy you the fancy things in life
Shawty, would it be alright?
Come on show me that you are down

Now tell me would you really ride for me?
Baby tell me would you die for me?
Would you spend your whole life with me?
Would you be there to always hold me down?
Tell me would you really cry for me?
Baby don’t lie to me
If I didn’t have anything
I wanna know would you stick around?

If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

Let’s get it diddly-dong-dong-dong-dang
All I want is somebody real who don’t need much
A girl I know that I can trust
To be here when money low
If I did not have nothing else to give but love
Would that even be enough?
Girl meh need fi know

Now tell me would you really ride for me?
Baby tell me would you die for me?
Would you spend your whole life with me?
Would you be there to always hold me down?
Tell me would you really cry for me?
Baby don’t lie to me
If I didn’t have anything
I wanna know would you stick around?

If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

Tell me, tell me, would you want me?
Tell me, tell me, would you call me?
If you knew I wasn’t balling
‘Cause I need a girl who’s always by my side
Tell me, tell me, do you need me?
Tell me, tell me, do you love me?
Or is you just tryna play me?
‘Cause I need a girl to hold me down for life

If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?

If I got locked away
And we lost it all today

Stuff you should know

Are you uh,,, lonely? Then you must read this article.. Some has many friends, whereas some are not. Which side are you on? No matter who you are, where you go you already have a bunch of friends. Very closely, no, too close to see them.. Those friends are, strictly to say, not a human being. Kinda living creatures. They never part with you. They sleep together with you. They eat together with you. They even follow you to the loo. Unfortunately you can’t see them, but they’re there.

They are microscopic mites, eight-legged creatures rather like spiders. Almost every human being has them. They spend their entire lives on our faces, where they eat, mate and finally die. These mites have eight short and stubby legs near their heads. Aren’t they so much cute? Their bodies are elongated, almost worm-like. Under a microscope, they look as though they’re swimming through oil, neither very far, nor very fast.

Compared with other parts of your body, your face has larger pores and more numerous glands, which may explain why the mites tend to live there. But they have also been found elsewhere, including the genital area and on breasts. Stop saying obscenity! That suggests we all have them, and probably in quite large numbers. It’s hard to speculate or quantify but a low population would be maybe in the hundreds. A high mite population would be thousands.

The populations may well vary from person to person, so you might have many more than your neighbour or far fewer. You may also have more mites on one side of your face than the other. For most people, most of the time, they’re harmless.
They may even be beneficial. For instance, they may clear dead skin off our faces or eat harmful skin bacteria. Uh! They were good friends!

But suppose you really wanted to get rid of them. Could you? Although there are therapies that kill mites, we can’t get rid of them forever. They are forever friends. We pick them up from people who we are in contact with. We pick them up from sheets, pillows, towels. Even if you kill them off, you’re going to get them again, because they’re everywhere and they want to be on your face. Forever friends and they really like you, so you don’t have to worry about parting. Never feel lonesomeness. (Sourced by BBC, Added &Edited by Collin)

[pop song] Singer : Phil collins      Title : You’ll Be In My Heart

?歌詞

Come stop your crying
It will be alright
Just take my hand
And hold it tight
I will protect you
From all around you
I will be here
Don’t you cry
For one so small,
You seem so strong
My arms will hold you,
Keep you safe and warm
This bond between us
Can’t be broken
I will be here
Don’t you cry
‘Cause you’ll be in my heart

Yes, you’ll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
You’ll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You’ll be here in my heart
Always
Why can’t they understand the way we feel
They just don’t trust what they can’t explain
I know we’re different, but deep inside us
We’re not that different at all
And you’ll be in my heart
Yes you’ll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more
Don’t listen to them
‘Cause what do they know
We need each other, to have, to hold
They’ll see in time, I know

When destiny calls you, you must be strong
I may not be with you
But you got to hold on
They’ll see in time, I know
We’ll show them together
‘Cause you’ll be in my heart
Believe me you’ll be in my heart
I’ll be there from this day on
Now and forever more
You’ll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You’ll be here in my heart

Always
Always I’ll be with you
I’ll be there for you always
Always and always
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
Just look over your shoulder
I’ll be there
Always

Stuff you should know

Did you ever be told “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away”? In person, literally I eat an apple bodily a day since..  since when I was far younger than now, since I knew this saying. Get up in the morning and grap a round yummy-looking buddy. You hear me crunch sounds? Yummy, freshing, and wake you up morning sound definitely, isn’t it? I eat it whole. Meaning without leaving its skin. It’s because there are much more essential nutrients than it’s flesh, aside from all another one. So let’s have a closer look into our buddy!

1)Lowers your heart disease. You know apples are very much associated with lowering the risk of heart disease. Please give your attention to..soluble fibers! which are able to lower the cholesterol level in the blood. Oh, I really can’t stand a blood traffic jam. This fiber can help widen road for your blood flow. The skin of the apple is rich in polyphenols, which has the ability to lower blood pressure. The phenolic compound in the skin of the apple stops the cholesterol from solidifying and blocking the arteries.

2)Apples are full of fiber that can make you feel full longer. Let me give you other example you can understand easily. Have some bread and you will feel full soon, but become hunger in no time. But not apple! This will help you limit your intake of calories per day. How can you go on eating even though you are not hungry? And how it works? Fiber takes longer to digest, which is why you don’t feel hungry hours after eating foods that are high in fiber. If you really want to shed off some weight, you should aim to consume about 25 to 40 grams of fiber each day. Got it? It means you should have veggies and fruits all the time.

3)Feeds the good bacteria in your gut. Apples contain pectin, which is a type of fiber that can act as a prebiotic in your gut. Pectin can promote the good bacteria in your gut. When this fiber goes to the colon or large intestine, it feeds the good bacteria and allows them to grow and flourish.

When you have a healthy gut, this can help lower the risk of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Um.. you fart smell bad and stinky?  Ghastly rotten egg smell? If so, could you please shut up and just stuff your guts with apples?

What about you?

Back in my childhood, Not many toys were owned by me, perhaps, probably even I can count how many they were. However it was the era for not-much-we-have since after the war extinguished.

We had, though, another substitute joy instead of having playing full of toys. Like, yes, You know hide and seek in around narrow alleys in which was like a maze quite puzzled, yeah, literally an adventure itself!

What comes next for another was a playing with fire. Uh, it was really tremendous job and made me so obsessed with it I couldn’t wait to redo. Contrarily scared me to death whenever I had to strike a matchstick, though.

Other than that, I had taken to bravely scratch it, and found me amazed rather awe. Then soaked into it with my own idled eyes. Fell into melancholy unknowingly why, seeing it is going to darkness..

Unceasingly strike, put out, strike, put out a blaze, soaring and fell to death.. messed all round me. Merry go round.. merry go round.. ??

I all went to these troubles for this.

So! What about you? Did you do this, either? Bothering is you go to loo to pee  a bunch of times after this.

Kids, don’t so ever unless you want to set the fire on your household.

Today’s story is.

Oh, man. I would rather not knowing this story and introducing you guys.

So miserable and slavery story. Not just child abuse to put little girl out winter but also child exploitation to gain some farthings.

Oh, I can’t keep on, please get hanky ready before into.

What about you?

Back in my childhood we used to raise many dogs, I mean, one or two at a time, not many of them simultaneously.

Actually we had a farmland, a really whole of island with beautiful beaches, so see-through beaches that you can see fishes swim in the sea! And livestock like pigs, horses, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, goats and on and on.

And again, crops like corns, peanuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes,  carrots, bananas, pumpkins, onions, spring onions, well… let me breathe a fraction! Anyway You name it, everything is here.

In there there were two hunting dogs named Collie.

Well, can you guess why my name is Collin? We were friends.

We ran over meadows looking blue sea and cliffs where goats jumps up and down and sides hurriedly after seeing us, and eat together, sleep together.

But one of the bad habits of my own dog is.

He often caught either one of my slippers or shoes, or both, and bite it as though if it’s beautiful a piece of meat on a warming day, on top of it, carried and hid somewhere off my eyes.

And not forgetting to smear sticky, dark, stinky and something gross you-see-horror-cinema.

Having no found one of my help-me-out slippers, I had to scuffle skipping with my one left slipper looking for it’s mate, heading to under the floor, approximately favorite spot of him here, not here!?

Oh man! I would have to go field, or sea, or shed or pigsty with my one-left slipper hanging hold of my foot, and the other from one of other pairs…

Today’s story is.

A dog found a slipper rolling ahead of it, snatched it to home.

Naughty dog, not that much naughty ‘cause it will be faithfully used for it’s futu adorable babies.

Who can blame the dog? Wish to keep a peace in their new house.

語彙 例文 意味 発音 品詞
Cradle  The baby sleeps in the cradle upstairs.

A small low bed for an infant, often furnished with rockers

(ˈkreɪdəl)

Noun

I cradled her in my arms.
They knew each other from the cradle.
Boston is the cradle of the American Revolution.

One day, as her mother stooped over the cradle, the infant’s eyes had been caught by the glimmering of the gold embroidery about the letter; and putting up her little hand she grasped at it, smiling, not doubtfully, but with a decided gleam, that gave her face the look of a much older child.

He found favor in the eyes of the mothers by petting the children, particularly the youngest; and like the lion bold, which whilom so magnanimously the lamb did hold, he would sit with a child on one knee, and rock a cradle with his foot for whole hours together.

It is worse; for you cannot sit motionless in the heart of these perils, because the boat is rocking like a cradle, and you are pitched one way and the other, without the slightest warning;

and only by a certain self-adjusting buoyancy and simultaneousness of volition and action, can you escape being made a Mazeppa of, and run away with where the all-seeing sun himself could never pierce you out.

[Pop song] Singer: Robbie Williams,  Nicole Kidman.   Title: Something stupid

?歌詞

I know I stand in line
until you think you
have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that theres a chance
You wont be leaving with me

And afterwards we drop
into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you

I can see it in your eyes
that you despise
the same old lies
You heard the night before

And though its just a line
to you for me its true
It never seemed
so right before
I practice every day
to find some clever
lines to say
To make the meaning
come through

But then I think Ill wait
until the evening gets late
And I’m alone with you
The time is right
your perfume fills my head
the stars get red
And oh the nights so blue

And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you
The time is right
your perfume fills my head
the stars get red
And oh the nights so blue

And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you
I love you I love you
I love you I love you

What about you?

Had you a bit large slippers and slipped off your feet quite often because of not just fitting to your size?

Basically, fundamentally, they are designed to do so, when you in the loo, across door, and outdoor in  them you can go easily everywhere probably besides mountains or,, Iceland where could hurt so badly your feet,

especially having them worn you may never mind dirt sands or dust, or waste coming stucking in the sole or gap of toes of your feet.

Clung sands to your footware especially for slippers? Feel free, go just get,, let them be rinsed by water, simple work and tread earth toughly.

Today’s story is.

Unfortunately our poor little girl, named.. I don’t know, maybe you neither, not has been known probably, was thrown to cold snowy outside for sorry business,

and to make it worse, the slippers which kept poor little girl’s feet from the coldness slipped away away away~ away to doggies’ cradle, how come slippers were flown to cradle? for this part you are gonna see on next.

Don’t miss it. This time, please pay me your attention for a poor little girl, wandering.

Not a latent echo in the house, not a squeak and scuffle from the mice behind the panelling, not a drip from the half-thawed water-spout in the dull yard behind, not a sigh among the leafless boughs of one despondent poplar, not the idle swinging of an empty store-house door, no, not a clicking in the fire, but fell upon the heart of Scrooge with a softening influence, and gave a freer passage to his tears.

If questioned, they were directed by their master to say, that the empty litter of the Lady Rowena was employed to transport one of their comrades who had been wounded in the scuffle.

[Pop song] Singer: Abba.  Title: Dancing queen

?歌詞

Ooh
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen

Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
Where they play the right music
Getting in the swing
You come to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music’s high
With a bit of rock music
Everything is fine
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance

You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen

You’re a teaser, you turn ‘em on
Leave ‘em burning and then you’re gone
Looking out for another
Anyone will do
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance

You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
Dig in the dancing queen

Stuff you should know

“The Little Match Girl” is a short story by Danish poet and author, Hans Christian Andersen. Probably you heard his name when you were a kid. The story, about a dying child’s dreams and hope, was first published in 1845. So classic! It has been adapted to various media, including an animated short film, a television musical, and an animated virtual reality story. Why don’t you have time recalling your childhood by this?

it is true; but what was the good of that?

What was once a simple and painless walk through a metal detector has turned into a nightmarish ordeal of screaming Transportation Security Administration agents, invasive pat-downs, naked body scans, and strip searches.

A wide frontier had been laid naked by this unexpected disaster, and more substantial evils were preceded by a thousand fanciful and imaginary dangers.

Presently there was a distant blare of military music; it came nearer, still nearer, and soon a noble cavalcade wound into view, glorious with plumed helmets and flashing mail and flaunting banners and rich doublets and horse-cloths and gilded spear- heads; and through the muck and swine, and naked brats, and joyous dogs, and shabby huts, it took its gallant way, and in its wake we followed.

[Pop song]  Singer : Carpenters    Title : Yesterday once more

?歌詞

When I was young I’d listen to the radio
Waitin’ for my favorite songs
When they played I’d sing along, it made me smile

Those were such happy times and not so long ago
How I wondered where they’d gone
But they’re back again just like a long lost friend
All the songs I loved so well

Every sha-la-la-la
Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they’re startin’ to sing’s, so fine

When they get to the part
Where he’s breakin’ her heart
It can really make me cry, just like before
It’s yesterday once more

Lookin’ back on how it was in years gone by
And the good times that I had
Makes today seem rather sad, so much has changed.

It was songs of love that I would sing to then
And I’d memorize each word
Those old melodies still sound so good to me
As they melt the years away

Every sha-la-la-la
Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they’re startin’ to sing’s so fine

All my best memories come back clearly to me
Some can even make me cry, just like before
It’s yesterday once more

Every sha-la-la-la
Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they’re startin’ to sing’s so fine

Every sha-la-la-la
Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling
