What about you?

Back in my childhood we used to raise many dogs, I mean, one or two at a time, not many of them simultaneously.

Actually we had a farmland, a really whole of island with beautiful beaches, so see-through beaches that you can see fishes swim in the sea! And livestock like pigs, horses, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, goats and on and on.

And again, crops like corns, peanuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes,  carrots, bananas, pumpkins, onions, spring onions, well… let me breathe a fraction! Anyway You name it, everything is here.

In there there were two hunting dogs named Collie.

Well, can you guess why my name is Collin? We were friends.

We ran over meadows looking blue sea and cliffs where goats jumps up and down and sides hurriedly after seeing us, and eat together, sleep together.

But one of the bad habits of my own dog is.

He often caught either one of my slippers or shoes, or both, and bite it as though if it’s beautiful a piece of meat on a warming day, on top of it, carried and hid somewhere off my eyes.

And not forgetting to smear sticky, dark, stinky and something gross you-see-horror-cinema.

Having no found one of my help-me-out slippers, I had to scuffle skipping with my one left slipper looking for it’s mate, heading to under the floor, approximately favorite spot of him here, not here!?

Oh man! I would have to go field, or sea, or shed or pigsty with my one-left slipper hanging hold of my foot, and the other from one of other pairs…

Today’s story is.

A dog found a slipper rolling ahead of it, snatched it to home.

Naughty dog, not that much naughty ‘cause it will be faithfully used for it’s futu adorable babies.

Who can blame the dog? Wish to keep a peace in their new house.

One slipper was nowhere to be found;

the other had been laid hold of by an urchin,

and off he ran with it;

he thought it would do capitally for a cradle

when he some day or other should have children himself.

語彙 例文 意味 発音 品詞
Cradle  The baby sleeps in the cradle upstairs.

A small low bed for an infant, often furnished with rockers

(ˈkreɪdəl)

Noun

I cradled her in my arms.
They knew each other from the cradle.
Boston is the cradle of the American Revolution.

One day, as her mother stooped over the cradle, the infant’s eyes had been caught by the glimmering of the gold embroidery about the letter; and putting up her little hand she grasped at it, smiling, not doubtfully, but with a decided gleam, that gave her face the look of a much older child.

He found favor in the eyes of the mothers by petting the children, particularly the youngest; and like the lion bold, which whilom so magnanimously the lamb did hold, he would sit with a child on one knee, and rock a cradle with his foot for whole hours together.

It is worse; for you cannot sit motionless in the heart of these perils, because the boat is rocking like a cradle, and you are pitched one way and the other, without the slightest warning;

and only by a certain self-adjusting buoyancy and simultaneousness of volition and action, can you escape being made a Mazeppa of, and run away with where the all-seeing sun himself could never pierce you out.

[Pop song] Singer: Robbie Williams,  Nicole Kidman.   Title: Something stupid

?歌詞

I know I stand in line
until you think you
have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that theres a chance
You wont be leaving with me

And afterwards we drop
into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you

I can see it in your eyes
that you despise
the same old lies
You heard the night before

And though its just a line
to you for me its true
It never seemed
so right before
I practice every day
to find some clever
lines to say
To make the meaning
come through

But then I think Ill wait
until the evening gets late
And I’m alone with you
The time is right
your perfume fills my head
the stars get red
And oh the nights so blue

And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you
The time is right
your perfume fills my head
the stars get red
And oh the nights so blue

And then I go and spoil
it all by saying
something stupid
Like I love you
I love you I love you
I love you I love you
