英語 勉強 初心者-英語小説[オズの魔法使03]

1. What about you?

There are some occasions which I had gotten through when it comes to alcoholic things. I don’t take alcohol right now since 7 years ago approximately, not even sipping in. But very few times just soak my throat with light beer. Then back in ranging from when I was high school to I was an officer after graduated, that over period of times was the best time of keeping a drink in my whole life, literally consistently drinking alcohol every other day.

In school days I don’t know why I did such.. a bad behavior. We all know the students should work on study, not dwelling on a drink. But I wasn’t as much bad as you’d think of. I mean drinking was just fun for a teenager of me. When drunk along with my friends we all were just happy as we do have a talk with various matters, and loud out not caring about neighbors, which came caused to the street fights that was what I had longed for to get into. With this state of tipsy physical fights were enormous joy, and I’m the most entertained among friends. Uh,, come to think of it, I was a bit bad. Admitted it. What about you? Did you ever fight in a tipsy on the street?

読み方

The reason he was so late was because all through the night

there were times when the solid earth shook and trembled under him,

and the engineer was afraid that at any moment the rails might spread apart

and an accident happen to his passengers.

So he moved the cars slowly and with caution.

The little girl stood still to watch

until the train had disappeared around a curve;

then she turned to see where she was.

The shed at Hugson’s Siding was bare save for an old wooden bench,

and did not look very inviting.

[Pop song] Singer :   Meghan Trainor.    Title:  Dear future husband

?歌詞

Dear future husband
Here’s a few things
You’ll need to know if you wanna be
My one and only all my life
Take me on a date
I deserve a break
And don’t forget the flowers every anniversary
‘Cause if you’ll treat me right
I’ll be the perfect wife
Buying groceries
Buy-buying what you need

You got that 9 to 5
But, baby, so do I
So don’t be thinking I’ll be home and baking apple pies
I never learned to cook
But I can write a hook
Sing along with me
Sing-sing along with me (Hey)
You gotta know how to treat me like a lady
Even when I’m acting crazy
Tell me everything’s alright

Dear future husband
Here’s a few things you’ll need to know if you want to be
My one and only all my life
Dear future husband
If you wanna get that special lovin’
Tell me I’m beautiful each and every night
After every fight
Just apologize
And maybe then I’ll let you try and rock my body right
Even if I was wrong
You know I’m never wrong
Why disagree?
Why, why disagree?
You gotta know how to treat me like a lady
Even when I’m acting crazy
Tell me everything’s alright

Dear future husband
Here’s a few things
You’ll need to know if you want to be
My one and only all my life (Hey, baby)
Dear future husband
Make time for me
Don’t leave me lonely
And know we’ll never see your family more than mine
I’ll be sleeping on the left side of the bed (Hey)
Open doors for me and you might get some kisses
Don’t have a dirty mind
Just be a classy guy
Buy me a ring
Buy-buy me a ring, babe
You gotta know how to treat me like a lady
Even when I’m acting crazy
Tell me everything’s alright

Dear future husband
Here’s a few things
You’ll need to know if you want to be
My one and only all my life
Dear future husband
If you wanna get that special loving
Tell me I’m beautiful each and every night
Future husband, better love me right
